In the heart of the Sierra de Mariola, UMAMI by MasQi is the new gastronomic concept from MasQi, The Energy House. A restaurant where produce, seasonality and the surrounding landscape inspire contemporary cuisine that finds its greatest ally in nature.
Every dish is created with respect for the origin of its ingredients and the rhythm of the seasons. The menu is constantly evolving according to product availability and the chef’s creativity, offering a different experience with every visit while remaining true to the same philosophy: cooking with honesty, balance and sensitivity.
The restaurant offers a set tasting menu consisting of two starters, a main course and a dessert. The cuisine is predominantly plant-based, occasionally complemented by fish and seafood, bringing together Mediterranean and Japanese influences to create dishes full of flavour, texture and harmony.

Just a few minutes from MasQi lies Banyeres de Mariola, one of the most charming inland villages in Alicante. Its castle-fortress, of Islamic origin and dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, stands 830 metres above sea level and offers spectacular views across the entire valley.
