Known for its botanical diversity, aromatic and medicinal plants, numerous natural springs and Mediterranean landscape, it is a privileged setting in which to disconnect, breathe fresh air and enjoy nature at any time of the year.
Just a few minutes from MasQi lies Banyeres de Mariola, one of the most charming inland villages in Alicante. Its castle-fortress, of Islamic origin and dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, stands 830 metres above sea level and offers spectacular views across the entire valley.
The area surrounding MasQi has an extensive network of hiking trails suitable for all levels, winding through forests, historic farmhouses, natural springs and some of the most unique corners of the Sierra de Mariola. A landscape that invites you to slow down, explore on foot and discover the essence of the most authentic Mediterranean.
How to get to MasQi
We recommend entering “Cementerio Municipal de Banyeres de Mariola” into your GPS. Directly opposite the cemetery, you will find a dirt road with a sign indicating MasQi, 1,500 metres away.
