After a time of apprenticeship among the best artisans, years ago Óscar and Mayte embarked on this adventure of cheese aromas and although many of their relatives and acquaintances told them they were crazy, they had decided that the time was now or never, so they took the risk and with effort and enthusiasm they created a cheese factory with results that surprised even themselves.
Run by a couple from a small village in Castellón, in Les Coves de Vinromà, they now have a small livestock farm of sheep, fed in a completely natural way, from which they produce their cheeses and yoghurts.
Products
At present, our cheeses include semi-cured cheeses of two months, cured cheeses of six months and aged cheeses of nine months. They also have a five-month raw milk cheese, a flavoured herb cheese and a blue cheese with its own character.
Cheese factory
They offer guided tours of their facilities for groups. It is a pleasure for them to introduce you to their cheeses, yoghurts and curds, so that you can taste them and see for yourself what makes them special. We have tried to develop them with the best quality and with all the expression of our land. The Cheese Tasting consists of tasting 7 different cheeses, explaining the whole process of cheese, how it is made, and we tell you about our experience of our beginnings, then you will see the sheep farm and the milking parlour.
