Description

Pou de Beca has created a space that allows you to enjoy the nature, traditions and culture of the environment where it is located, offering a great culinary diversity. A project born of a family restaurant, with the hope of extending its roots and fulfilling social commitments acquired from the original peoples, to whom we must give so much value.

They follow the philosophy of life to evolve without losing traditions and have projected it into a rural hostel with a soul of their own, allowing themselves to enjoy the work, the environment and experiencing with respect the flavors of the land.

Pou de Beca offers ecotourism, which is based on three fundamental pillars: food sovereignty, responsible tourism and culture. To this end, they have created a space that integrates with nature and is developed with the lowest environmental impact, with the maintenance of renewable energies, biomass heating systems, promote SlowFood and its renovation through bioconstruction criteria.

Quite a great life experience.

Environment and places of interest

The municipality of La Vall d'Alba is surrounded by natural and cultural areas that bathe the region, such as the Sierra de Irta. You can also climb the Penyagolosa, the highest peak in the province of Castellón, where you can enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea.

From Pou de Beca you can also walk the streets and discover villages such as Morella, Culla or Vilafamés, charming towns that stand out for being some of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

Among the religious monuments of this municipality, the Church of San Antonio and the Hermitage of San Cristóbal stand out.

But without a doubt the most curious place of this municipality is the Sakya Trinley Ling Buddhist Monastery House. It maintains the ancient tradition of Buddhism from ancient Tibet.
