Description
Font d'en Torres is an old farmhouse of the fifteenth century belonging to the municipality of Morella, located only 6 km. from the city of Morella. It is located in one of the most spectacular and beautiful places in the region of Els Ports, next to the Font de l'Esperança and the source of the River Cèrvol. In addition, it is located on a 125-hectare estate of pasture currently dedicated to cattle breeding.
The farmhouse was renovated in 2012 by its owners, taking care of every detail and respecting the typical architecture of the area with a rustic decoration at the same time modern and contemporary, providing it with all the necessary comforts such as those of a hotel in Morella. It is listed as a country house of superior category by the Department of Tourism of the Valencian Community.
An accommodation in the middle of nature to enjoy the cozy apartments, equipped with underfloor heating with biomass boiler, fireplace, full kitchen, Internet connection, music, whirlpool tub with chromotherapy and where you can be accompanied and much more.
The manager of the accommodation offers a guided tour of the corners close to the estate. It is a tour of about 3 or 4 kilometers and lasts about 2 hours in which you will be shown the most beautiful corners of the place, where you can find specimens of Hispanic goat or vulture. The route begins in the chapel next to the farmhouse, then, from a spectacular viewpoint where you can see the whole route, it continues by "La Cova d'els Cagots", passing by the Font de l'Esperança. Then you will get to know a truffle that will allow us to know more about the black diamond of Morella (the truffle) and will take you along the course of the river Cèrvol to the Peiró de Santa Creu del Riu de les Corses. A beautiful walk among forests of oaks, pines and oaks crowned by large rocks and crossed by countless paths and paths that lead us to unique corners.
