La Casa del Pantano

La Casa del Pantano was the former administration and management house of the Isbert Dam. It is currently a Rural Lodging of 7 rooms with beautiful views of the mountain which is located in La Vall de Laguar

History and modernity are intertwined to offer the visitor a unique experience. The past of the house, its origins, is joined by a present in which comfort, convenience and modernity are protagonists.

It is located in a privileged natural environment, with unique landscapes and orography, rescued from the past to be enjoyed in the present in all its essence. In it, time stops and gives way to an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility in close union with the natural environment.

This house is located in the region of Marina Alta, just in the Vall de Laguar, a place well known for its various routes. All nature lovers can find in this place excellent views. The hiking trails that take us through places of great beauty such as the route to the dam of Isbert, whose construction was suspended for many years and which hides a route with a lot of history, including the Barranc de l’Infern, nicknamed the Cathedral of the Trails or Route of the 6000 Steps, of Moorish origin, which runs 14.5 km of a rugged landscape.

Other historical places to visit would be the Castle of Azabras, Castle of Les Atzavares or Cave of the Skulls.

Near La Casa del Pantano, there are also nearby the beaches of Denia and Jávea (18km) and a little further we can find the area of Benidorm (28 km), beaches equipped for the enjoyment of water sports such as Kite Surf, Wind Surf, Paddle Surf, etc.
